Assassin’s Creed Mirage Is Real And Ubisoft Has More To Share About It Next Week

Posted on

After becoming one of the most leaked games in franchise history, Ubisoft has confirmed that Assassin’s Creed Mirage is real and we’ll learn more about it next week.

That’s because the publisher is hosting a Ubisoft Forward on September 10th at noon PT/3PM ET, which previously advertised As that event forms where we learn more about the future of Assassin’s Creed. It looks like Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be the show’s big attraction, but it’s possible we’ll learn more about assassin’s creed infinity, which is Ubisoft’s in-development Assassin’s Creed live-service platform. We can also learn about non-Assassin’s Creed games.

If the rumors and leaks about Assassin’s Creed Mirage are true, we’re in for a game set in Baghdad with Bassim, a lead character from Assassin’s Creed Valhalla (if you know, you know) as the protagonist. Leaks indicate that he is not yet an assassin at the beginning of Mirage and, instead, a thief who comes to search for the hidden, who later in the series becomes the killer of orders. Rumors also point to the game being too stripped down on the franchise, feeling more like the older games in the series rather than the massive and open-world RPGs of late.

The ability to feel like a bridge between the classic Assassin’s Creed and the new Assassin’s Creed has me incredibly excited. I love new games, especially Origins and Odyssey, but they are downright tedious. Is there an Assassin’s Creed game I can beat in less than 80 hours? Sign me up!

In the meantime, read sports informer Ranking of every Assassin’s Creed game and then hold Everything Announced During Assassin’s Creed’s 15th Anniversary Celebration Stream which aired earlier this summer.
