DC Fandome Will Not Return This Year

Warner Bros. Discovery has confirmed that the virtual fan convention showcasing DC Fandom, DC movies, TV shows and, of course, video games will not take place this year.

The first DC Fandoms took place in 2020, serving as a livestream alternative to in-person conferences in the wake of the pandemic. This included virtual panels with celebrities and filmmakers to see new announcements, trailers and an early look at all things DC Media. “With the return of individual events, Warner Bros. Discovery is excited to be able to connect with our fans at multiple Comic-Cons around the world and will not schedule the DC Fandome for 2022.”

The cancellation of Fandom is an unfortunate setback in the ongoing transition resulting from April’s Warner Bros./Discovery merger.
