Something Wicked Games, a new studio formed from developers whose credits include Fallout 4 and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, has revealed its first game, WiredSong, in a new trailer.
The trailer was released as part of the Gamescom Opening Night Live showcase hosted by Geoff Keighley, and while it was short, it contained a lot of mystery and fantasy intrigue.

As you can see in the trailer above, there’s not much to it. However, we took note of what the narrator said during it: “In the crevices of reality, two lives exist, one before the shadow and one behind the eye.” sounds scary.
“Wyrdsong is a secret historical fantasy RPG set in a fictional Portugal in the Middle Ages,” reads a press release. “Players will be challenged to question both their reality and the choices they make as Wordsong sets out to expand, question and redefine the aspects that make up the current role-playing game genre.”
Shortly after the trailer’s release, Jeff Gardiner, an ex-Bethesda Studios ex-Bethesda Studios with credits in Fallout 76, Skyrim, Fallout 4, and others, posted a link on Twitter that leads to the new launch. Some Wicked Games Website,
“Our goal with Some Rogue Games is to use our free and creative autonomy to create the next evolution of open world RPGs,” Gardiner, founder and CEO of Some Rogue Games, writes in a press release. “Our first project, WiredSong, has been the game of my dreams for some time now, and I’m thrilled to share it today.”
A press release also stated that the game is being developed in Unreal Engine 5.
